Exercise Classes

We have more than 20 fun classes to suit all fitness levels. All classes are free for Waldron Wellness Center members.

Exercise Classes for January 2 - February 3rd:

The Waldron’s class schedule is based on instructor availability and member attendance. At least 2 members must attend any given class; class is cancelled is fewer than 2 members are in attendance.

Members enjoy exercising when everyone shares the same goals. Choose a class that fits yours!

Gentle & Beginner Classes

Easy Yoga

Improve your flexibility and balance in a way that works for you! This class will utilize standing yoga stretches while using a chair for assistance with balance. Beginner

Fit for Life

Low to moderate intensity exercise with a focus on aging in good health! This mix of cardio, strength, core, balance, and stretching is mostly standing with some seated (chair) work. Beginner to Intermediate

Tai Chi for Health

Improve your balance, coordination and focus while decreasing stress. Tai Chi features slow, flowing movements suitable for all ages & fitness levels.

Sit Fit

This seated class features very gentle, light movement and exercise. Beginner

Muscle Toning & Stretching Classes - Various Levels

Rip

RIP by Group Rx/Power Music. This barbell, dumbbell and kettlebell workout will push your muscular endurance to its limits. Each muscle workout is choreographed to a song for a super fun and challenging workout. Intermediate to Advanced

Barre/Pilates

Strengthen and tone your legs, abs and back! Standing work at the (ballet) barre, plus floor work to strengthen the muscles in your mid-section. All levels

Arms, Abs & Back

Tone and strengthen the muscles in your upper body and mid-section! All levels

Super Sculpt

A great all-around muscle workout with a variety of equipment to tone and strengthen! All levels

Yoga

Balance, strength, flexibility… a non-impact class designed to stretch and strengthen muscles. Kids ages 6 & up are welcome with parent/guardian for Tuesday Night Yoga. Pi-Yoga combines Pilates core work with yoga. All levels

Cardio / "Aerobic" Classes - Various Levels

SPORT

(by Power Music/Group Rx) A total body workout using the step, a few weights and YOU! This workout mixes cardio training with strength, balance and core work. The moves are basic yet effective. Game on! Intermediate to Advanced

Cardio Challenge

Old school “aerobics,” athletic or step drills, Tabata, intervals, kickboxing and more…. Cardio work to strengthen your heart and burn calories. Includes core work and stretching. Intermediate to Advanced

Cycle

A calorie-burning workout that’s fun and effective; you decide how hard/fast to pedal. Beginner to Advanced

Kickboxing

A high energy cardio workout including kicks, punches, jumping jacks and more. Intermediate to Advanced

Zumba

Join the party! Dance-based moves that will get you smiling and burning major calories! All levels
